Kat Squire

I am currently in my final year of the Advanced Diploma in Counselling. Over the years, I have gained experience and knowledge of the caring world both professionally and on a personal level, which is why I was drawn to the services of Totnes Carers Counselling. I work with children and young people with Visual Impairment and have previously had experience as a foster carer and within education working with children with SEN. These experiences have given me insight into the world of those I have been fortunate enough to have spent time with, alongside developing a deeper understanding of self.

Previous to this I trained and worked as a classical singer, which enabled me to explore and connect with mind, body, soul and experience the joy of connection with others through performance. I still love to sing and can generally be found hanging out with my lovely dog, Flo in my spare time.
