Hi I’m Terri

I am in my final year of study to gain my Advanced Diploma in Counselling. I have, and still do, work in trauma related roles. I currently support people in a Mental health Crisis and previously supported people suffering with the trauma from Sexual Assault.

I have personal experience of caring for a family member, therefore understand the challenges that people face within this role. I am an active listener and recognise how important it is, to a person, to feel that they are being listened to. I believe fully in the therapeutic process. By us, together, building a therapeutic relationship, we can create a space where you can feel safe, listened too and have the opportunity to explore your feelings and behaviours. I feel really privileged to be part of Totnes Carers Counselling and I look forward to sharing this journey with you.
