Andy Whalley
I have recently achieve my Level Four Diploma in Therapeutic Counselling and am now a qualified counsellor.

In my four years of study I have learnt to trust the counselling process and recognise how powerful the therapeutic relationship between counsellor and client can be; how it allows the client to grow, trust and understand their journey. Together the counsellor and client help each other to understand and learn.

I have personal experience of caring for loved ones struggling with mental health issues and also for an elderly family member.

I am an active listener. I recognise fully how important it is to listen as well as talk. I have strong boundaries and confidentiality is central to my work. I have supported clients with anxiety, anger and confidence issues. I offer the space between us for growth and support. I trust the counselling process. I have witnessed its success and felt it’s warmth
